No supplier can list on RentGo Express without passing our 5-step verification process. Here's exactly what we check — and why.
Legal & Tax Verification
Every rental business must provide their Albanian NIPT (business registration number) and proof of active tax registration with the General Directorate of Taxes.
- Valid NIPT registered in Albania (verified via QKB.gov.al)
- Active status with the General Directorate of Taxes
- Business type must include "car rental" or "vehicle rental" in registered activities
- At least 6 months of operating history
Fleet Condition Check
We physically inspect (or request video walkarounds of) every vehicle listed. Cars older than 8 years, with visible damage, or without valid technical inspection are rejected.
- Vehicles maximum 8 years old (economy) or 5 years (premium/SUV)
- Valid technical inspection certificate (kontrolli teknik)
- Clean interior with no permanent damage or odors
- Full-size spare tire, jack, and roadside emergency kit
- Minimum 4-6 clear, recent photos per vehicle
Insurance Verification
Every vehicle must have comprehensive insurance covering third-party liability, collision damage, and theft. We request proof of active insurance policies before any listing goes live.
- Mandatory TPL (Third-Party Liability) insurance — legally required in Albania
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage
- Theft protection
- Insurance policy renewed at least 30 days before expiration
- Passenger accident coverage for at least 5 passengers
Response & Service Standards
Fast, professional communication is non-negotiable. Suppliers must accept or decline booking requests within 90 minutes during business hours. Suppliers who consistently exceed this window are removed.
- 90-minute response window for booking requests (8 AM - 8 PM local time)
- Basic English communication ability (or multilingual staff)
- Airport meet-and-greet available (if pickup at TIA)
- Written pickup instructions provided in advance
- 24/7 emergency contact number for renters
Ongoing Performance Monitoring
Verification isn't one-time. We continuously monitor every supplier's performance based on customer reviews, booking acceptance rate, dispute frequency, and response times. Suppliers who fall below our standards are given warnings and, if unresolved, removed from the platform.
- Customer review score (minimum 4.0/5.0 average maintained)
- Booking acceptance rate (minimum 85%)
- Cancellation rate by supplier (maximum 5%)
- Complaint resolution time (48 hours target)
- Dispute-to-booking ratio (below 2%)
